Since 2002, Rubicon has been hard at work developing numerous commercial projects. The list is extensive and includes: nine (9) new retail shopping centers totaling 200,000 square feet, renovation and conversion of a single tenant 23,000 square foot building in a minority market into a multi tenant shopping center with Auto Zone as the anchor tenant, nine (9) build to suit Auto Zone buildings; four of which are in the Houston market, one in Tennessee and four (4) in Florida. Also Rubicon Realty Group has developed, one (1) 13,000 square feet CVS Drug store, a 72,000 square foot self storage facility and a 10,000 square foot single story office building. All totaled, to date, Rubicon Realty Group has developed over $100 Million Dollars of commercial real estate.

In 2006, Rubicon closed the largest commercial land transaction in the Houston Market. Rubicon purchased 112 acre of commercial land in Sugar Land, Texas at the intersection of State Highway 6 and US 90 from Newland Communities. The Crossing at Telfair, is a 112 acre mixed use development will consist of retail shopping centers, single tenant retail buildings, restaurants, office buildings, medical offices, hotels and entertainment venues.

2011 saw a great deal of activity at The Crossing at Telfair, as HEB Grocers opened their 120,000 square foot store at the intersection of State Highway 6 and University Boulevard in September. With the addition of Cheddars Restaurant opening to the public in December 2011 and Fadi's Mediteranean Restuarant scheduled to open January 2012, Phase I is almost completed.

Phase II of the development will be breaking ground early 2012 with Rubicon's development of an 18,000 square foot retail center. Several additional reserves have been placed under contract and are scheduled to close soon afterwards. Rubicon will continue to plan the development of the remaining phases of The Crossing at Telfair and is currently in discussions with numerous end users recognizing The Crossing at Telfair as one of the premier developments in the greater Houston area.

Further, Rubicon was instrumental in securing HEB Grocery as the anchor of Sienna Village Shopping Center, a 26 acre development located at the entrance of the master-planned community, Sienna Plantation in Missouri City, Texas. Currently, Phase II of Sienna Village, is under construction with the addition of a 8,000 square foot pad builing located along State Highway 6, with delivery of shell space to the tenants by first quarter 2012.
